Vulnerable Conversations
Discussing our bodies and their impact on our lives can be challenging. Healthcare providers may vary in their comfort discussing sensitive topics, and tight schedules often limit counseling during appointments. Your therapist might address general needs but may benefit from a deeper understanding of sexual and reproductive health. Leveraging my clinical expertise and experience in these areas, I will empower you to make informed decisions, build confidence in your reproductive and sexual health, and cultivate joy and appreciation for your body.

Navigating a 15-30 minute healthcare appointment to express your needs can be challenging. I offer strategies and insights to empower you in navigating healthcare on your terms. Gain the confidence to effectively collaborate with your provider and ensure your needs are met.
Sexuality and Gender Identity
Whether you are newly exploring, or deeply rooted in your sexual and/or gender identity, there are many areas of our lives where difficult conversations related to these two concepts are needed. This is a safe place to experiment with ideas, language, and strategies for living into your most authentic self, wherever you are, whomever you're with.
Disconnection From Your Body
From toxic media messaging, to changes brought about by childrearing, and/or unexpected physical symptoms from peri and post-menopause; there are multitude of reasons why you may be feeling disconnected from your body. What you may not realize, are all the many ways this affects your physical health, sense of self, sexual relationships, and how you approach your healthcare. You only get one body, let's give you the tools to love and respect it.
Sexual Trauma
The connection between the mind and the body is complex, and traumatic experiences create lasting imprints. In spaces like doctor's appointments, during intimacy, or with childbirth, the body might react to these triggers in distressing ways. We will talk about what to expect from these situations, and develop self-advocacy and management strategies that will empower you to find more ease and joy in these moments.
